Nach einem Schiffbruch stranden die Zwillinge Viola und Sebastian getrennt voneinander in Illyrien. Viola gibt sich als junger Mann aus und tritt in den Dienst von Herzog Orsino, der heimlich Gräfin Olivia liebt. Als Viola in seinem Auftrag um Olivias Gunst wirbt, verliebt sich die Gräfin jedoch in den vermeintlichen Diener. Mit Sebastians plötzlichem Auftauchen erreicht das Chaos schließlich seinen Höhepunkt.

Zwischen heiterem Spiel und leisen Momenten zeigte sich, wie zeitlos Shakespeares Blick auf menschliche Irrtümer und Sehnsüchte ist. Das Publikum begleitete diese Reise mit viel Aufmerksamkeit und Wärme – ein schöner Abschluss einer intensiven und erfüllenden Theatersaison.

Die skurrilen Begegnungen amüsieren ihn köstlich – bis die vermeintlich „Verrückten“ einige Tage später bei ihm zu Hause auftauchen und das Chaos perfekt machen. Mit pointierten Dialogen und charmantem Spiel entfaltet sich eine klassische Verwechslungskomödie, die das Publikum mit viel Freude und Lachen begleitete – ein heiterer Höhepunkt unserer Theatersaison.
